The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the 2021 All-Region Teams today with a pair of Spartans receiving recognition. Outside hitter

Kaitlyn Beebe earned Region 8 First-Team All-Region honors.
A week after the pair received Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference honors as First-Team All-Conference, the duo's selection to the All-Region team marked the fourth straight season for an Aurora University Women's Volleyball player to earn AVCA All-Region honors.
Avery leads AU in kills averaging 3.54 per set while hitting .215. She has 20 aces with 2.40 digs and 0.62 blocks per set
Beebe leads the Spartans with 10.44 per set average, and has 27 service aces. She adds 0.49 kills, 2.72 digs and 0.49 blocks per set.
Avery and Beebe now advance to the AVCA All-American selection process which is announced during the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball National Championship weekend.
The Aurora University volleyball team is set to compete in the 2021 NCAA Division III Regional Tournament on Friday, November 12 with game time starting at 3:00 p.m. against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at the Waverly, Iowa regional. The Spartans finished the regular season with a 20-8 record and reached the NCAA field of 64 for the fourth time in school history as a pool A selection by winning the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference automatic qualifier.
