Aurora University Spartan women’s indoor track and field runner jumper Cait Hartman (Parker, Colo./Ponderosa H.S.) was named Northern Athletics Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 29, 2011. 

Competing in the indoor portion of the Spartans’ schedule, Hartman set new school records in both of her events at the Tadd Metzger Invite at Carthage College in just her third career meet. She shattered records in the long jump (5.10 meters) and triple jump (10.65 meters) while helping AU to a sixth-place finish. Her triple jump finish was good for second place.

Next action for Hartman and the Spartan women's track and field team comes on Friday, February 4, 2011, when they travel to the Illinois Wesleyan University Invitational. Meet time is set for 4:00 p.m. in Bloomington, Ill.
