Aurora University women's soccer goalkeeper Kelsey Deck was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Players of the Week as selected by a panel of the NACC Athletic Communication professionals.

Deck led the Spartans defensively during the two game week to open the 2022 season, a 1-0 loss at North Central College and a 0-0 tie with North Park University. She allowed just one goal in 180 minutes of action while making 18 saves.

Next action for the AU women's soccer (0-1-1 overall) comes tonight, Wednesday, September 7 at 7:00 p.m. when they host Saint Mary's College (Indiana) at Spartan Athletic Park.
