Aurora University men's soccer forward Anthony Marmolejo was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Players of the Week as selected by a panel of the NACC Athletic Communication professionals.

Marmolejo scored two goals in AU's season-opening 4-2 victory at Millikin University. His two goals against the Big Blue came on on four shots on goal. Marmolejo also had two shots in the Spartans' 1-1 draw with Saint Mary's (Minn.).

Next action for the Spartan men's soccer team (1-0-2 overall) comes on Saturday, September 10 when they travel to Illinois Wesleyan University. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. in Bloomington, Illinois.
