Aurora University men's soccer goalkeeper Jalen Depenbrock was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Players of the Week as selected by a panel of the NACC Athletic Communication professionals.

Depenbrock earned the honor after he was unscored upon in 135 minutes of action last week as AU went 2-0 with wins over Rockford (1-0) and MSOE (2-0). Depenbrock started and played the first half with two saves in the win over Rockford, then went the full 90 with six saves in the shutout win over MSOE. The wins helped put the Spartans in position for a first-round bye in the upcoming NACC tournament.

On the season, Depenbrock leads the Spartans with a 3-2-4 overall record with two shutouts and a combined shutout. He has a 1.03 goals against average and a .855 save percentage.
