Aurora University baseball seniorDerek Angelo was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Baseball Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Angelo, a senior infielder, started the spring trip for Aurora off going 6-of-10 with a home run, double, six runs scored and four runs batted in as AU went 3-0, beating St. John Fisher and sweeping John Carroll. In game one of the trip against SJFU, he went three-for-five with a double, three runs scored and two runs batted in and followed that by going one-for-three with two runs and two-for-two with a home run, two runs batted in and run scored against JCU.
