Aurora University sophomore middle blocker Erin Henkel was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week as selected by a panel of the NACC Athletic Communication professionals.

Henkel earned the award after she was named to the Jim Coleman Memorial Classic All-Tournament team after helping AU to a 2-2 week. Over the four match tournament against a strong level of competition, Henkel had 17 blocks and 1.13 per set average to secure the NACC weekly award. She added eight service aces on the tournament while also knocking down 1.47 kills per set.
