Aurora University junior Michelle Beggs has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Beggs earned the weekly conference award after she finished tied for eighth at the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic with a 36-hole score of four-over par 148 after carding scores of 77 and 71. The Spartans finished fifth out of 19 teams in the event, posting a NACC-record team total of 10-over-par 298 in the second round.
