The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) has announced its 3 Stars of the Week. AU Spartan men's hockey forward Landry Schmuck was named one of the three stars of the week, a second time earning the award this season.

Schmuck earned the recognition after he tallied five points with two goals and three assists to help AU sweep Hamline. The freshman had a three-point outing on Friday, which included back-to-back goals 24 seconds apart in the 2nd period. He also assisted on the following goal to help the Spartans win 8-2. During the series finale he assisted on a goal in the 1st and 2nd period of the 4-1 victory.

On the season, Schmuck leads the Spartans (10-2 overall and 6-2 NCHA) in goals with 10 while being second in points at 16. He has six assists with three of his goals coming as game-winning tallies on the year.
