Aurora University senior Deedee Colon Maldonado was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Indoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. The honor is the third in as many weeks for Colon Maldonado.

Colon Maldonado earned the honor after she competed in three events at the Illinois Wesleyan Keck Select meet on Saturday. She broke the Aurora school record in the 800-meter run with a new personal record and NACC season-best time of 2:17.10. Colon Maldonado also ran a new personal record of 1:00.63 in the 400, which currently ranks second on the NACC performance list. She concluded her day by anchoring the Spartan 4x400 relay to a new NACC-leading time of 4:09.38.
