Aurora University Athletics

Aurora University senior Deedee Colon Maldonado was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Indoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. The honor is the second in as many weeks for Colon Maldonado.

Colon Maldonado earned the honor after she placed second in the open division of the 3000-meter run at the Meyo Invitational hosted by Notre Dame. Her time of 9:38.90 is a new Aurora and NACC record and stands as the third-fastest time in NCAA Division III this season.
