Fields earned the honor after she was the individual champion at the 2025 Aurora University Spartan Classic. Her victory also helped lead the Spartans to a team victory, scoring 26 points, to defeat second place Purdue Northwest (35 points). This is the second year in a row that Fields is the individual champion at the Spartan Classic and her time of 23:40.2 put her a full 25 seconds ahead of the second place finisher. Fields is only the second Spartan to ever win multiple titles at the Spartan Classic, joining Jackie Schane (class of 2019)
