Aurora University Spartan volleyball player, senior middle hitter Jill Smart (Grayslake, Ill./Grayslake HS), was named to her second consecutive All-Tournament team after her performance this past weekend at the Millikin University Slagell Classic.
AU went 1-2 in the one-day tournament at Millikin on Saturday, September 26, 2009. Smart had a team-high 19 kills (1.90 per set) for a .125 kill percentage, two serving aces and a team-high 11 blocks in three sets.
In AU's 3-1 win over Robert Morris College (20-25, 25-15, 26-24, 25-12), she recorded a team-high 12 kills and five blocks.
On the season, Smart leads the Spartans with 3.09 kills per set (204 total kills), 45 blocks and has 15 serving aces.
