The Aurora University Spartan men's cross country team traveled to Concordia Wisconsin

on Saturday, September 15 and competed in the Concordia Invitational. The Spartan men finished 4th out of 15 teams with 102 points.

AU senior Drew Schmitt finished third with a time of 26:23 as he came in as the top Spartan runner. Joining Schmitt in the scoring column at the meet were Grady Schroeder (20th - 27:27), Jordan Tripp (23rd - 27:33), Alex Mertes (27th - 27:41), Fabian Cabrera (29th - 27:52), Nick Cole (30th - 27:53), Calvin Robinson (40th - 28:16) and Brandon Miller (42nd - 28:24).

Next action for the Spartan men's cross country teams comes on Friday, September 21 when they travel to Augustana College. The meet is set for 5:00.m. at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Ill.
