Part of the Aurora University men's cross country team traveled to Milwaukee, WI on Saturday October 5th to compete in the 2013 Warrior Cross Country Invitational. Although the entire team didn't participate in the Men's 8k race, they overall landed themselves 8th out of 25 teams.

First Spartan finisher for Men's team was sophomore runner Calvin Robinson in 36^th place with a time of 28:51.59. Also placing in the top 50 of the meet close behind Robinson were freshman Nick Shaw (41^st- 29:02.28) and senior Pete Jaros (43^rd- 29:04.03).

Other Spartan competitors  included freshman Ryan Fromm (60th- 29:25.59), junior Doug Belling (69th- 29:41.25), junior Matt Swanson (88th- 30:08.47), freshman Dan Morgan (89th- 30:09.75), freshman D.J. Wolfram (92nd- 30:12.94), freshman Leon Heard (96th- 30:15.41), sophomore Kevin Crozier (107th- 30:36.31), senior Kyle Kayzar (119th- 31:02.91), freshman Ricky Perkins (123rd 31:12.15), junior Gonzo Gonzalez (129th – 31:20.47), freshman Luis Salgado (134th- 31:39.18), freshman Marlon Morales (137th- 31:42.15), freshman Ben Ervin (153rd- 32:22.53), senior Kevin Price (175th- 33:07.12), freshman Alex Carter (183rd- 33:34.22) and freshman Cody McDougall (186th- 33:49.31).

The next action for the Spartan men's cross country team comes on Saturday, October 19^th when they compete in the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Brooks Invitational. Meet time is set for 11:15 a.m. in Winneconne, Wis. at Lake Breeze Golf Course.
