The Aurora University Spartan men's cross country team defended their Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship, capturing the 2013 crown by a 15 point advantage.

Matt Meyers set the pace for AU by winning the 2013 NACC individual championship and being named NACC Runner and Freshman of the Year. He crossed the finish line with a time of 26:38.8. For his teams strong efforts all season, Head Coach
Ryan Chapman was named the NACC Men's Cross Country Coach of the Year.
Meyers was not solely responsible for the Spartan Championship as he was followed by scorers
