AU collected 2,831 items for the Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry in Aurora which benefits 230 families in the Fox Valley area.
"All of our hard work will certainly benefit many area residents during the holiday season," said AU Senior Woman Administrator and SAAC advisor Nicole Pieart.

In addition to the food drive, the AU men's and women's lacrosse programs also have been
actively involved in community service.
The women's lacrosse team spent some time out of their schedule to serve at Feed My Starving Children where they packaged meals that will benefit those in need. In addition, several members of the men's lacrosse program spent time at the home of area resident Wilma Hauer helping with yard work and clearing fallen leaves. They also went back on Thanksgiving to wish her a happy birthday and spend some time in conversation with her.
