The Aurora Men's Cross Country team traveled to compete in the Benedictine Eagle Cross Country Invitational at the St. James Farm Forest Preserve Friday, October 10, 2014. Out of the fifteen teams Aurora placed second.

The top finisher for the Spartans was sophomore Matt Meyers. Meyers placed 8th out of 186 competitors in the 8k race with a time of 26:09.98.. Other Spartans who placed in the top 30 at the Invite were sophomore Jimmy Baskins finishing in 15th with a time of 26:27, junior Calvin Robinson (22nd- 26:39), freshman TJ Pitcock (24th- 26:42), sophomore Alex Duncan (26th- 26:44), and senior Brandon Miller (28th- 26:53).
