The Aurora University men's cross country team competed in the UW-Oshkosh Brooks Invitational meet on Saturday, October 18, 2014. The meet was held in Winneconne, Wisconsin at Lake Breeze Golf Course where over 600 athletes competed in the 8k race. The Spartans finished 25th out of 45 teams in the Invitational.

The top finisher for the men's team was sophomore Jimmy Baeskens placing 128^th in a time of 26:10. Joining him as top seven finishers for Aurora were junior Calvin Robinson (169^th- 26:20), freshman T.J. Pitcock (172^nd- 26:21), sophomore Matt Meyers (215^th- 26:40), senior Nick Cole (281^st- 27:06), senior Brandon Miller (310^th- 27:19) and sophomore Ben Ervin (323^rd- 27:24).

Competitors who also finished the race were sophomore Alex Duncan (332^nd- 27:29), junior Nick Quiroz (336^th- 27:30), sophomore Nick Shaw (334^th- 27:33), sophomore Ryan Fromm (370^th- 27:45), senior Matt Swanson (372^nd – 27:45), sophomore Luke Miller (376^th- 27:46), freshman Anthony Barrios (435^th – 28:20), sophomore Ricky Perkins (454^th- 28:33), sophomore Dan Morgan (467^th- 28:40), freshman Michael Dalaney (473^rd- 28:45), senior Roberto Gonzalez (481^st- 28:51), sophomore D.J. Next action for the Spartan cross country team comes on Saturday, November 1 when they host the 2014 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championships. Meet time is set for 11:00 a.m. at Oakhurst Forest Preserve in Aurora, Illinois.
