Box Score The Aurora University baseball team took on their rival Benedictine University Eagles in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference game on a chilly
Tuesday afternoon at Solfisburg Park, AU won the game 6-4.

and Oymaian hit back to back singles. After the duo advanced on a ground out, both scored when Flores singled down the right field line but he was thrown out at second trying to stretch the play into a double.
Benedictine would get two runs in the top of the fifth inning on a home run from Tim Hendricks and added one more run in the eighth inning but Hart stopped any momentum and earned the win for the Spartans. He set down the Eagles in order in the ninth inning.
Swain finished three for four on the day with two runs batted in and one run scored, Turner was three for four with one run scored and Brann, Flores and Popovich all went two for four, Popovich and Brann drove in one with Flores scoring once and driving in two.
With the win Aurora is now 9-17 overall and 5-6 in the NACC. Next action for the Spartan baseball team comes on
Wednesday, April 16 when they host Benedictine University. Game time is set for 5:00 p.m. at Solfisburg Park in Aurora, Ill.
