The Aurora University volleyball team traveled to Lakeland College for a key Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match-up with NACC Tournament seeding implications at stake. AU fell to the Muskies 3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENEDAU dropped the opening set 25-21 in a back and forth contest that was tied at 21-21 before a final Muskie run.
The second set was also closely played with AU trialing 18-16 before Lakeland pulled away to win 25-18.
After the third set was tied 4-4, AU pulled ahead 11-4 and never looked back before holding on to win 25-23.
The Spartans trailed throughout, falling behind 6-0 but fought back several times including being down one later 24-23 and lost 25-23.
