After winning the NACC championship the Aurora University men's cross country team was not done showing their excellent depth. While the top seven men for the Spartans will be competing at the NCAA Midwest Regional next week, the rest of the team's talent wanted one more chance to show what they had this season.

The Spartan Men placed second out of three teams at the North Central College Red and White Invite to Division III power Washington University in Saint Louis. The top finisher for AU was junior Nick Shaw placing tenth overall with a time of 15:52 for three miles.

The rest of the top seven men were as follows:
- Matt Bush (14^th 16:00)
- Christian Castro (15^th 16:02)
- Salvador Lazaro (16^th 16:03)
- Adrian Vargas (27^th 16:31)
- Dylan Powers (33^rd 16:43)
- Jordan Sherman (36^th 17:00).  

Next action for the Spartan men comes on Saturday, November 14 when they travel to the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional hosted by Augustana College. Meet time is set for 12:00 p.m. in Rock Island, Illinois.
