The Aurora University men's cross country team showed up to compete at their home meet, the AU Spartan XC Classic, placing second out of 11 teams.
AU senior Calvin Robison led the way for the Spartan men, finishing sixth overall by running a lifetime best of 25:56 for the 8,000 meter race. The men's team as a whole had an especially impressive day, with every member of the top 7 runners running faster than 27 minutes.

Friday, September 25 when they travel to the Augustana College Brissman-Lundeen Invitational. Meet time is set for 5:45 p.m. in Rock Island, Illinois.
