AU men open NACC soccer schedule with 2-1 win over Edgewood

Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play opened up for the Aurora University men's soccer team on Saturday afternoon. The Spartans welcomed Edgewood College to Vago Field and used two early goals to their benefit to hang on to a 2-1 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Spartans opened up the scoring 3:51 into the game with a goal by Collin Foreman assisted by Ben Edith.
Aurora tallied again at 7:20 when Angel Barajas scored on a pass from Justin Farley.
The Eagles scored early in the second half at 52:52 when Jesse Greenwood put a pass from Garrett Lee in the back of the net.

Edgewood shot of the bar for Garrett Lee and the rebound goal is waived off for a hand ball.
Key save for Edgewood College goalkeeper Kyle Wood in the 73rd minute to keep the score 2-1.
