The Aurora University women's tennis team played a pair of non-conference matches on Sunday, October 1. AU traveled to Lake Forest College to take on the Foresters and Illinois Institute of Technology.

The Spartans lost to Lake Forest 9-0 in the first match of the day and then fell to IIT 7-2. Sami Hultine won at No. 5 singles 6-2, 6-0 and Alexis Marcy won at No. 6 singles 7-5, 6-3.

Next action for the Spartan women's tennis teams comes on Friday, October 6 when they host Dominican University. Match time is set for 3:00 p.m. at the Washington Middle School Courts in Aurora, Illinois.
