The Aurora University men's soccer team were able to out shine the Stars of Dominican University in an exciting game, with AU winning 1-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the 31^st minute the Spartans took a 1-0 lead with goal from Henry Zehnal. Zehnal put the biscuit in the basket off of a deflected ball and subsequent scrum in from the the Star net.
- In the 43^rd minute AU caught a break where it appeared that the Stars tied the game 1-1 but an offside call kept the score at 1-0.
- The Spartans led at the end of the first half 1-0
- In the 58^th minute Spartan goalkeeper Phil Lewy made a leaping save to tip the ball off target to hold AU's lead at 1-0.
- In the 87^th minute AU nearly added to their lead but the Dominican goalkeeper had a leaping save of his own. A shot from Collin Foreman was deflected off target.
- AU defeated Dominican University 1-0.
