Kendall Urban got the scoring started with an assist from Kenny Hughes 1:08 into the game.
Kenny Hughes picked up the hat trick with 12:28 left in the first half.
Andrea Colford added her third and fourth goals to close out the first-half scoring.
Monmouth scored a pair of goals in the first 57 seconds of the second-half.
AU answered with a pair of goals from Kailey Kamberis and Taylor Arcivar.
After the teams traded tallies, Kenny Hughes scored three goals and Bridget Poidinger scored two goals in the final 20 minutes to wrap up the games scoring.
