The Aurora University softball team got back to winning ways with a pair of shutout wins over Lakeland University, winning 4-0 and 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS / HOW IT HAPPENED - GAME ONE
- AU scored three runs in the third inning with a two-run home run from Elaine Walker being the big hit of the inning.
- A lead-off double in the fourth from Taylor Moore produced a run when she scored on a Josie Bachtell sac fly out.
- Those runs were enough for pitcher Britni Wilson who hurled 5-1/3 no-hit innings before finishing with a complete game two-hit shutout.

- The third inning saw Steph Starr lead off with a single and score on a double from Taylor Moore, AU led 2-0.
- AU pitchers, Cat Yanis, Kaylee Hayton (winning pitcher in relief) and Britni Wilson (earned the save) combined for a shutout win.
