The Aurora University softball team continued their winning ways, sweeping Rockford University 9-0 and 15-1 in six innings to win their ninth and 10th straight games.

- The Spartans scored four times in the second inning behind four hits including a triple to drive in two from
Elaine Walker.
- AU got three doubles and four total hits in the fourth to score three more runs and led 7-0.
- Looking to end the game early, AU got a lead off walk from
Mandey Shrader and she scored on a Walker double. Walker scored the ninth run for AU on a sac fly from
Laura Dierking.
- Wilson would win her eighth game of the season, allowing no runs and just two hits while striking out four.

Mandey Shrader for the scoring started in the first inning with a lead off single, stole second and scored on a Regent error.
- AU scored four runs on five hits, all coming with two outs in the second to push the lead to 5-0. A double from
Ashley Pittman got the inning started,
- Rockford scored their first and only run of the day in the bottom of the second aided by two AU errors.
- Three hits including a double from
Mandey Shrader allowed AU to score three times in the fourth and take an 8-1 lead.
- Just as they did in the opening game, AU put the game out of reach in the sixth. Six hits and seven runs enacted the mercy rule.
- AU defeated the Regents 15-1.
