The Aurora University baseball team will enter the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference tournament for the eighth time in 11 seasons. The Spartans finished the 2017 regular season with a 24-14 overall record and 13-7 in the NACC. AU earned the third seed and will take on sixth seeded Milwaukee School of Engineering on Thursday, May 11 at 10:00 a.m.

All-Time NACC Championship History –

• AU has won the three tournament championships since joining the NACC, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
• Concordia Chicago has won five of 10 NACC Tournament Championships, 2009, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016
• Rockford won two NACC Tournament titles in 2007 and 2008.
• AU is 16-9 (.640) in the NACC tournament

• Senior Jeff Woods has a batting average of .392 with 11 doubles, two home runs, 33 runs scored and 31 runs batted in.
• Sophomore Jeff Mayes is hitting .384 with 14 doubles, four triples, one home run, 47 runs scored and 27 runs batted in.
• Senior Adam Lipscomb has a .357 batting average with 13 doubles, four home runs, 36 runs scored and 33 runs batted in.
• Senior Ty Jaquez is hitting .375 with seven doubles, one home run, 17 runs scored and nine runs batted in.
• Junior Jacob Stockman has a record of 6-1 with an era of 3.99.
• Sophomore Chris Roycroft has a 6-0 record with two saves and an era of 4.06.

About NACC Opponents –

• Concordia University Chicago comes in as the top seed with a record of 28-11 overall and 18-2 in the NACC.
• Concordia University Wisconsin comes in as the second seed with a 26-11 overall record and 15-5 in the NACC.
• Benedictine University comes in as the fourth seed with a record of 23-15 overall record and 12-8 in the NACC.
