The Aurora University women's tennis team hosted a pair of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference contests on Saturday. AU lost the first match 8-1 to Concordia University Wisconsin before losing to Lakeland 6-3.

Scoring for the Spartans in the CUW loss was Mackenzie Smith at No. 2 singles, won - 6-1, 1-6, 10-7. In the 6-3 loss to Lakeland, Smith won at No. 2 singles (6-0, 6-2), Micaela Mascha on at No. 1 singles (7-6 (10-4), 6-4) and the duo won at No. 1 doubles 8-2.

Next action for the Spartan women's tennis teams comes on Sunday, October 1 when they travel to Lake Forest College. Match time is set for 12:00 p.m. against Lake Forest and 3:00 p.m. against Illinois Institute of Technology in Lake Forest, Illinois.
