AU men finish fourth NACC Championship

The Aurora University men's cross country finished fourth at the 2018 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship on Saturday afternoon at Oakhurst Forest Preserve.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Aurora University finished fourth out of 11 teams, three points behind the third place finishers 
- A pair of Spartans earned All-Conference honors as they finished in the top 15 of the NACC competitors which totaled 97 from 11 schools.

The top 7 men's times and places were as follows:
- Brandon Estrada (5th - 25:46.90) - NACC All-Conference
- Carl Way (10th - 26:04.31) - NACC All-Conference
- David Galvan (20th - 26:38.63)
- Matthew Taves (24th - 27:03.72)
- Matt Bush (35th - 27:39.57)
- Nick Valle (40th - 28:01.87)
- Gavin Withaeger (52nd - 28:52.43)

UP NEXT:
Next action for the Spartan cross country team comes on Thursday, November 1 when they compete in the North Central College Red-White Invite. Meet time is set for 4:00 p.m. at St. James Farm Forest Preserve in Warrenville, Illinois.
