SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME ONE
- AU scored first with
Elaine Walker drawing a walk to start the game and
Nina Tholl doubled to drive her in.
- Hope tied the game in the third with a lead off hit by pitch and two singles later, the game was tied 1-1.
- The Spartans regained the lead in the third with a Tholl lead off single and later in the inning,
Kaylee Underwood who ran for Tholl scored on a walk from
Abbey Rosenow.
- Hope tied the game up 2-2 behind back to back doubles.
- Hope added two runs in the fifth behind two singles and a double.
- AU was unable to get a baserunner the rest of the game and fell 4-2.
SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME TWO
- The Spartans out hit Hope in game two but left runners on base on five of seven innings including runners on third in three innings.
- Hope scored the games only run in the second inning courtesy of a throwing error.
