The Aurora University men's track team opened the 2018 outdoor season at Augustana College and the Viking Olympics.

The Aurora throwers had an excellent day. Senior Brandon Pichen finished first in the Weight Throw, while Eddie Gonzalez took home second in the Shot Put. Carl Way also ran him self into first place in the 1000 meter run.
