The Aurora University baseball team opened up the spring trip in central Florida with an offensive explosion in a doubleheader sweep of Medaille College.

- The Spartans jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first for starter and eventual winner
Jacob Stockman.
- AU added one run in the third and fourth to lead 4-0.

Paul Dobravec hit a solo home run in the fifth before the Spartans blew up in the sixth
- AU scored 11 times with a
Jett Wedekind two run homer being the shot that got the offense rolling.
- After six more runs in the seventh, AU was victorious 22-2.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME TWO
- AU found themselves down 2-0 after the top of the first inning.
- After tying the game in the bottom of the second, the Spartans found themselves back down 3-2 going to hit in the third.
- AU exploded in the third for seven runs and added three in the fourth and six in the sixth to go on to win 18-4.
- 10 Spartans had hits in the game with seven having multi-hit games.
