Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Aurora University baseball team drew closer to the end of the spring trip in central Florida with a doubleheader against Coe College. AU and Coe split the doubleheader with AU winning 3-2 (8 innings) and Coe winning game two 7-6.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME ONE
- AU fell behind 2-0 in the top of the first as Coe got three hits and two runs off Spartan starter Jacob Stockman.
- The Spartans tied the game in the bottom of the second, taking advantage of a Coe error and an Austin Wiskow base hit to manufacture the runs.
- The game moved along quickly until AU threatened in the sixth. The Spartans drew a lead off walk and that was followed by a hit batsman. Though the Spartans would leave the pair stranded on second and third.
- With the game in extra innings, the Spartans thi time capitalized on a lead off walk. Nathan Smith got on and scored on a Jett Wedekind single for the 3-2 win.
- Jacob Stockman threw the complete game, going eight innings for the win, allowing seven hits, two runs (one earned) and struck out five.
- Nathan Smith was one for one with a run scored.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME TWO
- AU found themselves trailing early again in game two, this time 1-0 after the first.
- The deficit didn't last long as the Spartans scored twice in the second with two outs.
- The Spartans added three more runs in the fourth without a hit. Three Coe errors and two walks led to the AU runs.
- Another run crossed in the fifth for AU with two more Coe errors and Jeff Mayes getting the lone hit to score Nathan Smith.
- Coe cut the AU lead from 6-1 to 6-3 in the bottom of the fifth.
- The bottom of the sixth started out well for the Spartans with two quick strikeouts after an error to start the frame. After a second AU error in the inning extended the at bat for the Kohawks, Coe pieced together three singles to score four runs and take a 7-6 lead.
- A lead off single from Austin Wiskow gave AU a chance to tie the contest in the seventh but he was left stranded on third when the final out was made and AU fell 7-6.
- Nathan Smith scored three runs.
- Jeff Mayes was two for five with two runs batted in and one run scored.
- Cole Davis was two for four.
