The Aurora University Spartan softball team dropped a non-conference doubleheader with North Central College, losing 5-2 and 7-1.

GAME ONE - HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans fell behind 2-0 in the first inning but answered in the bottom.

Elaine Walker reached on an error and came around to score later in the inning.
- Down 4-1, the Spartans scored once but left pair stranded and were down 4-2 after five innings.
- NCC scored a run in top of the seventh.
- AU loaded the bases in the bottom of the seventh but would leave the bases loaded and fell 5-2.
GAME TWO - HOT IT HAPPENED
- AU again fell behind 2-0 in the first after a home run by the visitors.
- The Spartans came out hitting in the bottom of the first, getting four hits but only scored one run and trailed 2-1.
- The game remained 2-1 until the sixth when NCC scored two runs on a ground rule double. The Cardinals then added three more runs in the seventh on a home run for the 7-1 final score.
