The Aurora University baseball team knocked off North Central College in a non-conference contest on Tuesday afternoon. The Spartans beat the Cardinals 7-5 and marked the second straight win over the red birds.

Austin Wiskow for the games first run in the third inning.
- NCC scored four runs in the bottom of the third and AU trailed 4-1.
- AU answered right away in the fourth, scoring three runs on two hits and were aided by two Cardinal errors to tie the game.
- Heading to the seventh the game remained tied at 4-4.
- In the seventh, the Spartans took a strangle hold on the game. AU scored three times with
Austin Wiskow hitting a two-run double as the big hit in the frame.
- In the eighth the Cardinals threatened and had the bases loaded when Nick Mathey came out of the bullpen with two outs. Mathey induced a ground ball that turned into an error to allow one run but the next batter popped out and AU still led 7-5.
- Mathey closed out the ninth to earn the save as
Drew Marovich picked up his first collegiate win.
