The Aurora University women's bowling team competed in the Eagles Baker Classic in Addison, Illinois at Stardust Bowl on Saturday, January 12 and Sunday, January 13. The Spartans finished the weekend with a 2-8 record in the all baker matches.
 
During day one the Spartans finished the day with an 0-6 record. The AU women took on Calumet College of St. Joe's (loss 691-616), Lindenwood University (loss 623-553), Grand View University (loss 658-548), St. Ambrose University (loss 702-561), University of St. Francis (loss 695-561) and Lindenwood University (619-584).
 
Sunday, the final day of the tournament, brought about more baker games with the Spartans dropping the first two matches to Judson University (737-570) and St. Ambrose University (756-602). AU rebounded with a win over University of St. Francis, 784-731 and then concluded the tournament with a 582-401 win over Davenport University.

The Spartan women now hold an overall record of 16-36. Next action for the AU women's bowling team comes on Saturday, January 19 and Sunday, January 20 when they travel to the Kegel/ISBPAMidwest Collegiate Classic in Addison, Illinois.
