The Aurora University women's soccer team scored just over two minutes into the contest and went on to defeat Wisconsin Lutheran College in Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference action 9-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans jumped out quickly in the contest with
Alexis Abelove dishing a pass to
Jessica Ortiz. Ortiz blistered a shot from 20 yards out to the top left and a 1-0 AU lead.
- AU kept the pressure on the Warriors with several would be break away chances being called for off side.
- In the 14th minute, AU added to their lead.
Corina Leyva found the top right of the net with an assist from
Emma Aguilar.
- Early in the second-half,
Alexis Abelove scored to give AU a 3-0 lead.
- In the 61st minute, AU added on with Leyva sending a ball past the Warrior defense to break
Emma Aguilar free. Aguilar scored the break away for a 4-0 lead.
- In the 67th minute AU was awarded a penalty kick.
Jacklyn Cabrera took the shot which was initially saved but the rebound came right back to her right foot and she buried the second chance for a 6-0 AU lead.
- AU added goals from
Carly Cast (
Ariana Hopewell assist),
Jasmine Ascencio (
Mariah Dorsey assist) and Alexis Eggan (unassisted) in the final 18 minutes of action.
