The Aurora University women's track team won the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship for the seventh straight year with winning the 2019 crown on Sunday in Kenosha, Wisconsin (at Carthage College).
The AU women scored 187 points to win by 88 over the runner up Cougars of Concordia University Chicago. When the meet was complete, AU had 14 athletes finish in the top three of 16 various events. AU Head Coach
Jeff Fellers earned NACC Coach of the Year honors.
Five Spartans claimed individual NACC Championships in six events, led by
Jackie Schane who won the 3,000 and 5,000,
Taryn Davis won the 55 meter hurdle,
Tikia Harris won the high jump,
Jazzmine Reyes won the 800 meter and
Jocelyn Ocon won the weight throw.
