The Aurora University baseball team recognized the successful senior class between games of a NACC doubleheader with Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday afternoon. The Spartans swept the #NACCtion 10-1 and 8-4.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME ONE
- After having base runners on in each of the first three innings, the Spartans took advantage of runners on in the fourth.
- Paul Dobravec led off with a walk and was followed by singles from Jett Wedekind and Colin Rivard. The Rivard bunt single was amplified by a throwing error by the WLC catcher that allowed Dobravec and Wedekind to score. Rivard scored on the next at bat on a sac fly from Dylan White.
- An AJ Gill solo home run was part of a two run fifth and AU expanded their lead to 5-0.
- In the sixth, a three run triple from Dobravec pushed the Spartan lead to 8-0 for starting pitcher Chris Roycroft who had scattered two hits over the six innings of work,
- AU added two runs in the eighth after WLC scored once for what would be a 10-1 victory.

- AU wasted no time scoring in game two with four runs on four singles in the bottom of the first inning.
- In the second, Austin Wiskow walked and scored on a Davis Purviance triple for the 5-0 AU lead.
- A two-run double from Michael Fidler in the fifth pushed the Spartan lead to 7-0.
- The Spartans threatened to end the game early in the eighth as Jacob Bachio drove in one run but two runners remained stranded as the final out was made.
- WLC scored four times in the ninth but AU was victorious 8-4.
