The Aurora University women's hockey team needed a win in game two and the mini game of the 2020 NCHA Slaats Cup Playoff against the College of St. Scholastica. The Spartans fought valiantly but fell to the Saints 3-1.

- The Spartans came out firing in the first period but just couldn't find one past the CSS goalie.
- With 2:14 left in the first, Scholastica got a greasy goal off a rebound to lead 1-0.
- The game remained 1-0 through the second period and into the third.
- 26 seconds into the third, Scholastica scored to go ahead 2-0.
- Just under seven minutes into the third, Spartan
Olivia Matson took off on a breakaway. Her shot was tipped and sent wide by the CSS goalie though.
- The Spartans pulled within one with 2:51 to go in the game.

- With a lot of life, the Spartans were pushing but a slashing call gave the visitors a late power play.
- CSS scored with the extra skater and would go on to win 3-1.
