The COVID-19 outbreak forced the sudden cancelation of the NCAA winter and spring sports seasons. In the weeks following, the Aurora University athletic department highlighted senior student-athletes. We began with the seniors from the spring who had their seasons cut short and now begin to recognize the seniors from the winter and fall sports who completed their time at AU.
 
Senior Spotlight: Kevin Herlo (Men's Soccer)

Major: Business Administration

What are your plans after graduation? Work in Chicago and marry Rebecca Barbu.

What is your most memorable/best academic experience at AU? Dr. R's class.

What is your most memorable athletic moment at AU? Going to chipotle after games.

Other than the sport(s) you play; what other sports activity are you good at? Basketball and volleyball.

Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby or activity? Eating food and watching movies.

What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria? Chicken sandwiches and salad bar.

What AU faculty or staff member had the greatest impact on you and why? Dr. R.

What do you enjoy most and least about practice? What I enjoyed most was gimp squad with Matt Napolitano.

Do you have any pregame rituals? Pray for guidance.

What advice would you give to underclassmen at AU? Work hard and be humble.

If you had to listen to one song on repeat forever, what would it be and why? True colors from the movie Trolls.

What is something that people may not know about you but should? Christian and Romanian.

If you could spend an hour each with three people (past or present), who would you choose and why? Family.
