"Our men fought with a lot of heart today," said Coach
Alex Lowe. "Jacob and Cris have led them all season, so I knew they could both work their way up into the top 25 of a meet of this caliber. We also had a big performance from freshman
Maximo Garcia to move into the top five for the team. I'm excited to see what this squad can do at regionals in two weeks."
Next action for the Spartan men's cross country team comes on Thursday, November 4 when they compete at the Red and White Invite hosted by North Central College.
