The Aurora University Spartans men's wrestling team opened the season at the Adrian College Invite. The Spartans performed well in the first meet since the resurrection of the program. The Spartans finished an impressive fifth out of the 15 teams with 90.5 points.

The Spartans had five individuals take home top-7 finishes. Christian Komitas (165lbs) and Luke Silva (174lbs) won their weight classes.

Armando Ferrer (285 lbs) finished fourth, Logan Balosky (149 lbs) finished fifth and Skyler Pike (125 lbs) finished seventh.

Next action for the Spartan men's wrestling team comes on Saturday, November 13 when they travel to Millikin University. Meet time is set for 9:30 a.m. in Decatur, Illinois.
