The Aurora University men's track and field team was represented by senior Peter Rudelich in the 2021 Division III Elite Indoor Championships hosted by Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Rudelich had a strong performance in the pentathlon which consists of the 60m hurdles, high jump, shot put, long jump, and the 1000. He also competed in the high jump as an individual event on the second day of the meet.

In the pentathlon Rudelich finished in seventh place with 2578 points. He ran his fastest time of 9.90 seconds in the 60m hurdles. Rudelich also threw his lifetime best of 7.66m in the shot put which is equivalent to 25'1.75". In the high jump Rudelich placed in 12th jumping 1.87m.

Next up for the Spartan men's track and field team is Friday, March 19 when they travel to Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Meet time is set for 2:00 p.m.
