The Aurora University Spartan softball team hosted Alverno College Saturday afternoon and swept the Inferno. Hannah Tomasko threw a perfect game in game one. Taylor Shaw allowed just one hit in game two.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME ONE 
- Hannah Tomasko started her dominant outing with three Alverno hitters looking at strike three in the 1st inning.
- In the bottom half the Spartans brought three runs across on a Ashley Talago SAC fly.
- Tomasko would go out the next inning and stike out the next three Inferno hitters.
- The Spartans would bring across another in the 2nd inning when Jemma Fiehweg stole second and would score on the overthrow to center.
- Tomasko again would strike out the Alverno side in order.
- In the bottom of the third AU would bring two more home on RBI singles from Cassidy Rourke and Faith Biggs.
- The Spartan caught fire in the 4th bringing in 5 on RBI hits from Aly Teixeira (triple), Lexie Rayborn (2-run homerun), and Erin Simmons (double).
- In the top of the 5th the Spartan defense retire the first two.
- Tomasko would take care of the last herself for her 13th strikeout and completing her perfect game.

- AU would score one in the 1st on a SAC fly from Aly Teixeira to take an early lead on Alverno.
- In the 2nd the Spartans scored three. Teixeira delivered another big hit with an RBI single.
- In the 3rd AU would bring home 5, highlighted by doubles from Talaga and Teixeira.
- Taylor Shaw was dominant as she struck out six and allowed just one hit in the 9-0 win.
