- UC would get on the board with their first goal five minutes into the game. They would score two more in the next five minutes to make it 3-0.
- AU Claire Carlson would cut the lead to two with her 13th goal of the season.
- Over the next ten minutes UC would go on a 6-0 run to stretch the lead to 9-1 over the Spartans.
- Spartans Maragaret Flanagan and Monique Gibson would each score a goal within a minute to make it a 9-3 game.
- UC scored two more before the end of the half to take an eight goal, 11-3, lead into half.
- UC scored the first two goals in the 2nd half.
- Spartan Jalyn Yaukovitz would find the back of the net for her 9th goal of the season. 13-4.
- UC would score another pair before Carlson would score her 2nd of the game and the final goal for the Spartans with 14 minutes left to play.
- UC would score three more before the final buzzer to win the game 18-5.
