The Aurora University Spartan softball team traveled to Concordia University Wisconsin Tuesday afternoon for a non-conference matchup. The Spartans split with CUW winning game one 2-0 in 11 innings and losing game two 4-2 in a shortened 5 inning game due to darkness.

Hannah Tomasko continued her dominant pitching in the 1st in retiring the first three Falcon hitters of the game.

Bryanna Perez doubled to start off the 5th inning, but was unable to score on a couple hard hit outs. The game remained tied 0-0.
- Tomasko continued to deal, working around a few walks, but keeping the CUW hitters off balance.

Brianna Lewis tripled down the line to start the 11th inning.
Jemma Fiehweg would single her in to score the first run of the game.
- Fiehweg would make her way to third and
Aly Teixeira would get a bunt down to bring in an insurance run to make it 2-0 Spartans.
- CUW had runners on second and third in the bottom of the 11th, but Tomasko would shut the door striking out the last hitter of the game.

- CUW loaded the bases in the first with nobody out, but was only able to bring across one to take an early 1-0 lead.
- The Falcons would add another in the 2nd on one hit.
- CUW would capitalize on a couple errors in the 4th to extend their lead to 4-0.
- The Spartan offense came alive in the 5th loading the bases with nobody out.

Josephine Lytton would walk to bring in one of the runners.
- A wild pitch would bring in
Tyler Chambers to cut the lead to 4-2.
- The game would be called for darkness at the end of the half inning.
